Learning to swim is an activity for all ages and is an important life skill that saves lives. St Peter's School has a range of programmes available for the public.

If children are taught the skills that will ensure their safety in and around the water, we can greatly reduce the likelihood of accidental drowning.

Learning to swim will also provide children with a gateway to a multitude of aquatic sports including surfing, rowing, sailing and diving.

St Peter’s Swim School utilises the Smart Moves Curriculum. Smart Moves follows the philosophy that a child is pre-programmed to move whether it be in the water or on land and that a moving child is a learning child.

We believe that early and frequent experiences in the water are essential to a child’s health and well-rounded development. The advantages of learning to swim, beyond the obvious safety considerations, include improved motor coordination, socialisation skills and fitness.

We have a range of programmes suited to all age groups including Water Babies, Preschool, School Age, Stroke Correction, Stroke Development and Holiday Programmes.
