Athletes shine over summer

Three St Peter's athletes competed at the North Island Colgate Games held in Auckland in January.

Annalies Kalma won three bronze medals in the 14 years long jump, 200m and 400m events.

Lily Middleton came 9th in the 14 years shot put and 12th in the Discus.

Jemima Antoniazzi won bronze in the 14 years 1500m and silver in the 800m.  She went on to race at the NZ Club U20 3000m during Auckland Anniversary weekend and finished in 5th place that is a solid performance considering she has five more years in this age group.

Representing Waikato Bay of Plenty at the NZ Interprovincial Championships Annalies Kalma finished with two podium results, winning gold in the U16 200m, and bronze in the U16 long jump.  Also representing Waikato was fellow St Peter’s athlete Olivia Came.
